Falkirk riders take on Everesting.

Calling all bonkers cyclists. There’s a new cycling craze that is sweeping the world and it’s arrived in Scotland. Everesting calls on riders to cycle one hill up and down non-stop to reach the same vertical gain as the summit of Everest. That’s 29,029ft, if you didn’t know. You can read about this new endurance challenge in my article for the Sunday Mail.

If Everesting non-stop in one outing seems like a step too far, why not join next month’s charity challenge Climb for Nepal? You can spread out the accumulated height gain over a full month and help the survivors of the two earthquake disasters. You can choose to cycle, run or climb. See Climb for Nepal.
