250 years of adventurous women

Written by Fiona

To celebrate Women’s History Month (and also in acknowledgement to the recent international women’s day), Kora (the maker of yak wool baselayers) has created an infographic. This reveals the stories of more than 30 female adventurers from the last 250 years.

These female explorers, athletes, scientists and writers are a diverse bunch. They range from a grandmother-of-11 who was the first woman to hike the Appalachian Trail to a teenage acrobat who shot to fame as a human cannonball.

Take a look at the infographic to find out more. Have they missed any women?
