For sale: Pashley Princess Sovereign bike

Written by Fiona August 01 2011

Ok, so this is not my own choice of bike style, nor is it the kind I’d recommend for racing, but for girls who like to look good when they cycle to the shops, the Pashley Princess Sovereign is one of the hottest bikes to be riding these days. It’s a modern take on the older-style shopper bikes and looks gorgeously retro. It is shiny black, with a beautiful shopping basket and a wide, comfy leather seat. There are only three gears and it’s not the lightest of bikes so you won’t want to tackle huge big hills on this bike, but for flat routes of only a few miles (perhaps to Waitrose!) you can be sure you’ll look every bike a cycling princess on the pashley.

A friend in Glasgow is selling the bike because his girlfriend is moving country. It’s in tip-top condition and has been well looked after. It is priced at just £350 (or nearest offer), which is considerably less than the brand-new version.

If you want to know more about the bike email Ken at kenneth.j.owen@gmail.com
