The G-Force bungee jumps from the Titan Crane

Written by Fiona October 13 2012

Did you know that you can jump from one of Glasgow’s most iconic industrial landmarks, the Titan Crane? I didn’t fancy doing this when Highland Fling – who run the jumps – asked me, but the G-Force was up for it. It was only when he was stood at the edge of the 60m high crane that he suddenly decided it wasn’t for him. He tried to get out of jumping but then he felt he couldn’t. He was jumping for me and this blog!

He said he felt terrified. His heart raced. His whole body was sweating. He felt sick. And he can’t explain how frightening it felt to plummet at up to 40mph towards the  River Clyde. You can hear his terror in this video. He says he’d like to do it again, just so he can have an opportunity enjoy it – now he knows how safe it is!
