Macmillan Cycletta is the UK’s leading series of women-only bike rides. The events, across the UK, are supported by Olympic gold medallist Victoria Pendleton.

These are cycling challenges for women of all ages and abilities and at the Scone, near Perth, event on October 5, 2014, there are four distances to choose from:

• Novice 20km (£23)
• Classic 40km (£33)
• Challenge 70km (£37)
• Macmillan Cycletta 100 (100km) £42

The 100km (60 mile) route looks fab and it’s a lovely part of Scotland. If I wasn’t flying off to iceland that day I’d be riding it.
