This Friday (January 27) sees the start of the 2017 Peebles Outdoor Film Festival. It includes a host of events such as adventure films from around the world, inspiring speakers and outdoor sessions in the Scottish Borders.

Held at the Eastgate Theatre in Peebles, the festival opens with a special appearance by extreme adventurer Sean Conway, recently the subject of a documentary series on Discovery Channel having completed the world’s longest triathlon – a 4,200-mile cycle, run and swim circumnavigating the entire coast of mainland Britain.
