Price, usefulness, features and looks will all play their part when buying outdoors clothing, but do you ever think about the ethics? Do you consider how the clothing is made, where it is made, how far it is transported and whether it is recyclable?
I was asked to investigate the ethics of outdoor clothing for the Ramblers magazine, Walk. It was a huge topic and research was limited to practical time and the companies that got back to my requests for information.
